Directions
Porto Alegre Airport (Aeroporto Internacional Salgado Filho) is the main airport in Rio Grande do Sul and the main airport to get to Gramado. It is about 115 km from Gramado and, due to the distance, you will need another means of transport to get there. The main ones are: bus, transfer or taxi/Uber.
Bus:
It is the cheapest way to get to Gramado. Citral executive buses pass through Porto Alegre Airport every hour. Right outside the airport arrivals terminal, you will see a Citral store, where you can buy your ticket from a company employee or at a self-service kiosk. The journey takes around 2h30. Gramado Bus Station is in the city center. When you arrive, you can take a taxi/Uber.
The executive bus costs R$78~85 (brazilian real). More information: https://www.citral.tur.br/site/
Transfer/Shuttle:
Several companies offer shared transportation (or private transportation, if previously scheduled) in vans that leave from Porto Alegre Airport to Gramado. Brocker vehicles, for example, leave the airport every hour and the service does not need to be scheduled, but it is advisable to do so to ensure your space in the transport. If you do not wish to schedule the service in advance, the company will put you in the next available van. The transfer service is paid per person and its advantage is that it drops you off at the door of your hotel. The transfer costs R$114~125 (brazilian real).

Taxi or Uber:
Taxis and Uber work well in Gramado and can be a great way to get around. The simulated trip between the International Airport and Gramado costs R$240~360 (brazilian real, May 2025)
